Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: July 19, 2026 · Last updated: July 19, 2026
This policy applies to online lessons booked directly with Japanese with Yoshiki. Please review it before payment.
First-Lesson Satisfaction Guarantee
If the first trial lesson is not the right fit, the paying parent or adult student may request a full refund by contacting Yoshiki within 24 hours after the lesson ends. The refund is returned to the original payment method. The time required for funds to appear depends on the payment provider and card issuer.
Rescheduling and Cancellation
- Requests received at least 24 hours before the lesson may be rescheduled without charge.
- A cancellation or rescheduling request received less than 24 hours before the lesson is normally counted as a used lesson.
- For a child’s sudden illness, one courtesy late reschedule may be offered per calendar month.
- Send requests through the same contact channel used to arrange the lesson.
Late Arrival and No-Show
Yoshiki will remain available for 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. A student who has not joined or contacted Yoshiki within that period is treated as a no-show, and the lesson is counted as used. A late start does not extend the scheduled end time.
Technical Problems
- If Yoshiki cannot provide the lesson because of an internet, equipment, or platform problem on his side, the lesson will be rescheduled at no charge or refunded for that lesson, at the customer’s choice.
- If the problem is on the student’s side, Yoshiki will wait for up to 15 minutes and will try to complete a shortened lesson within the original time slot.
- If a widespread platform outage affects both sides, Yoshiki and the customer will arrange a replacement time.
Cancellation by Yoshiki
If Yoshiki needs to cancel, the customer may choose a replacement lesson or a refund for the affected lesson.
Lesson Packs
- Four-lesson packs are valid for 8 weeks from the first booked lesson.
- The eight-lesson Monthly Progress Pack is valid for 16 weeks from the first booked lesson.
- An extension may be considered for illness or another exceptional circumstance when requested before expiry.
- After the first lesson in a pack has been used, remaining unused lessons are non-refundable unless Yoshiki is unable to provide them.
How to Request a Refund
Use the contact page and include the payer’s name, lesson date, and the payment reference if available. Do not send full card details.
Owner confirmation required before publication: Confirm that the one-courtesy-reschedule rule, the 8/16-week pack expiry periods, and the non-refundable unused-pack rule are the final operating terms.
