Terms of Service

These terms apply to online Japanese lessons purchased directly from Japanese with Yoshiki. By paying for a lesson, the adult customer agrees to these terms and the linked policies.

Eligibility and Parental Responsibility

An adult must make the booking and payment. For a child student, the adult confirms that they are the parent, legal guardian, or have authority from the parent or guardian. Parents are welcome to observe. A responsible adult should remain available during a child’s online lesson.

Lesson Format

Lessons are provided online using Zoom or another platform agreed before booking. Students need a working internet connection, camera, microphone, and a safe environment suitable for an online lesson. Lesson content is adapted to the student but does not guarantee a particular level, score, or rate of progress.

Booking and Payment

A requested time is not reserved until Yoshiki confirms the time and required payment is completed. Prices are shown in USD. Payment processing and currency conversion may be subject to the payment provider’s terms.

Rescheduling, Cancellation, and Refunds

The Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of these terms.

Student Conduct and Safety

Students and accompanying adults must communicate respectfully and must not record, distribute, or commercially reuse the lesson without written agreement. Yoshiki may end a lesson when conduct is abusive, unsafe, discriminatory, or seriously disruptive. Child safety practices are described in the Child Safety Policy.

Lesson Materials and Intellectual Property

Lesson materials provided by Yoshiki are for the student’s personal learning use. They may not be sold, publicly reposted, or redistributed without permission. Students retain ownership of materials they create.

Japan Trip Planning and Travel Japanese

Trip Planning Sessions provide itinerary information and transport instruction. Travel Japanese Lessons provide language and general cultural information. They are not travel booking, legal, medical, immigration, or emergency services. The customer makes and pays for every reservation. Yoshiki does not arrange transportation, accommodation, tickets, or package tours on behalf of customers.

Service Availability

Temporary interruptions may occur because of illness, internet problems, platform outages, or events outside reasonable control. The refund policy explains the remedy when Yoshiki cannot provide a scheduled lesson.

Privacy and Policy Changes

Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy. These terms may be updated for future bookings. The terms shown when payment is made govern that purchase unless a change is required by law.

Owner confirmation required before publication: Obtain professional review of governing-law, dispute-resolution, and limitation-of-liability language before adding those clauses. They are intentionally not invented here.
