Frequently Asked Questions
Are lessons taught in English?
Lessons are Japanese-first. Yoshiki uses pictures, gestures, movement, and games so students can understand without translating every sentence. For parents, scheduling, questions, and progress reports are provided in clear written English.
Is my child too young or a complete beginner?
Complete beginners are welcome. Lessons are adapted to the child’s age, interests, attention span, and previous experience with Japanese.
Can a parent join the lesson?
Yes. Parents are welcome to observe or join, especially during the first lesson.
What platform is used?
Lessons are currently held on Zoom. Your private lesson link is sent after the time and payment are confirmed.
What happens if we need to cancel?
Free rescheduling is available up to 24 hours before the lesson. Please read the Refund & Cancellation Policy for late cancellations, illness, no-shows, and technical issues.
What happens after the trial lesson?
There is no obligation to continue. If the lesson is a good fit, parents can book a 60-minute regular lesson for $40, a four-lesson pack for $144, or an eight-lesson Monthly Progress Pack for $272.
Are lessons recorded?
The recording policy is being finalized. Yoshiki will confirm the current policy with the parent before booking. No child image or recording will be published without specific parental permission.
