Hajimemashite, I'm Yoshiki

Born and raised in Japan. By profession I'm a licensed physical therapist — a national medical license in Japan. Healthcare taught me patience, careful observation, and how to help people feel safe and relaxed. I bring exactly that to every lesson.

My lessons are 100% in Japanese, on purpose: it's how we naturally pick up language — by guessing, playing, and living in it. With parents I communicate in English by message, and after every lesson you get a short written report.

Questions parents & travelers ask

Do you speak English during lessons?

No — and that's by design! When a teacher explains everything in English, students stay in “English mode.” In my immersion lessons you learn from pictures, gestures and games instead. My own spoken English is basic, which is exactly why all parent communication happens in clear written English messages — you always know what's going on.

My child is shy / can't sit still. Will this work?

Very normal, and yes! Shy kids start with “just watch and point” games — no speaking pressure. Active kids get moving games (“bring me something red!”). The trial lesson shows us what works for your child — that's what it's for.

What timezone are the lessons in?

I'm in Japan. Weekday evenings work great for Asia & Oceania, weekend mornings (Japan time) for North America, and weekend daytime for Europe. Send me your city and I'll check for you.

How do I pay? Is it safe?
